ARTIST COLLABORATIONS
Some of the most magical moments happen when different artists share the same stage. I regularly team up with fire groups like Ignite Fire Arts and Lava Flow Fire, and I love weaving in performers from other worlds too. Live musicians, dancers, aerialists, acrobats, circus and flow artists all bring something different, and fire has a way of tying it all together. If you have a vision, I'm always open to creating something together.

Then I kept going on donations until 200. Today I've guided over 220 people through their first fire spin. We begin by connecting and talking about what you're carrying. Through intuitive energy work, I feel into what's present and create space for you to acknowledge what you're ready to let go of, and what you're ready to ignite.
Then we bring those intentions into a physical ceremony with sacred fire bubbles, symbolically burning away stagnant energy and inviting your inner fire to shine a little brighter.

For more than seven years I've been holding fire ceremonies, including a monthly gathering under the full moon. Each one brings a welcoming circle, intentions, a shared flame and first-time spinners. Alcohol free, community driven, and open to newcomers.

His monthly full moon gatherings are intimate and powerful. I also attended a staff workshop years ago at an event called Building Man (Green River, UT) that really gave me the tools and practices to get comfortable with my staff. The fire within me has blossomed into multiple fire props and now I'm a seasoned fire dancer. Thank you Spinspyre and our FIRE community.
Beyond his talent, he helps make the fire community welcoming by teaching others and hosting fire ceremony nights where performers can learn and connect in a supportive space. He brings so much creativity, fun, and care to what he does.

Hi, I'm Tyler.
Spinspyre comes from three words: spin, inspire and pyre. I'm a fire performer, a fire spinning teacher and a ceremony facilitator based in the Salt Lake Valley.
Fire found me, and it changed how I show up in the world. The torch was passed to me by my mentor, and I carry that lineage with a lot of respect. That's why I take safety, permits and the intention behind every flame seriously.
I don't see the fire as the main event. The main event is what it wakes up in you.

Questions, answered
How far ahead should I book?
Shows that need a fire permit take 5 to 14 business days for the permit process, so the earlier you reach out, the better. Last-minute dates are sometimes possible, so ask even if your event is coming up soon.
What does my venue need?
An outdoor space with room to keep everyone safe. Before I arrive, the venue (and any landlord or HOA) should be on board with an outdoor fire performance, and these areas should be clear:
- The performance area: no chairs, tables, decorations, cords or people.
- A 15 foot clear zone between the fire and your guests.
- A path and a small storage area for props and fuel, crew only.
Every venue gets a site check and a written site and safety plan before the first flame.
What happens if the weather turns?
Light rain doesn't stop the show. Heavy wind, heavy rain or lightning may delay the start until conditions clear, and I always make the final safety call.
If weather prevents the show, we reschedule at the same venue. Your planning deposit carries over.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. I'm a Utah State Fire Marshal registered flame effects artist, and I carry general liability insurance for fire performances. A certificate of insurance is available for your venue on request.
How do I reserve a date?
Your date is held once the agreement is signed and the $300 planning deposit and permit fee are in. The deposit covers the site visit, site and safety plan and permit filing, and it's applied to your show. The balance is due on show day.
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in the Salt Lake Valley and love bringing fire to new places. Travel beyond the Wasatch Front is quoted separately.
What should I wear to a lesson?
Wear clothing made from natural fibers, like cotton, linen, wool or hemp. Please skip polyester, nylon, spandex, fleece and synthetic lace. Synthetic fabrics can melt onto skin, while natural fibers are much safer around flame.
What happens during Internal Ignition?
We begin by connecting and talking about what you're carrying. Through intuitive energy work, you name what you're ready to let go of and what you're ready to ignite. Then we bring those intentions into a physical ceremony with sacred fire bubbles, and take time afterward to land and integrate.
It isn't a performance or a spinning lesson. It's a spiritual practice and ceremonial experience, not medical or psychological treatment.
How do I join a full moon gathering?
The monthly full moon fire ceremonies are alcohol free, community driven and open to newcomers. Choose Full moon list in the booking form, and I'll let you know when and where the next one is.
